She approaches every situation with a positive outlook. Beyond her professional interests, she has a deep passion for martial arts and stays active by walking her two dogs and chasing her son around the house. Michele also loves a good chess match and is always ready to put her skills to the test.

Founded in September 2019 by Michele Quigg, MQ Accounting is built on a foundation of expertise, dedication, and a client-focused approach. Michele brings a wealth of experience, beginning with her Bachelor of Commerce degree specializing in Accounting from the University of Ottawa, where she graduated in 2013. She achieved her Certified General Accountant (CGA) and Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designations in November 2015, further solidifying her proficiency in the field.

Before establishing MQ Accounting, Michele honed her skills at a local firm, gaining valuable experience that shaped the personalized, detail-oriented services the firm offers today.

Ayda earned both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Accounting from the University of Isfahan in Iran and brings 10 years of professional accounting experience to her role. After relocating to Canada in June 2023, she began studying at Algonquin College to gain expertise in Canadian Accounting Standards. Ayda joined MQ Accounting Professional Corporation in September 2024 and is actively working toward achieving her CPA designation.

In her free time, Ayda enjoys hiking, running, connecting with family and friends, and exploring traditional Iranian arts.

Rob is an experienced Accounting Manager at MQ Accounting, bringing a strong background in tax and accounting. A licensed CPA, he holds both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in Accounting from Carleton University. Since joining MQ Accounting in October 2023, Rob has been dedicated to delivering exceptional service and expertise to his clients.

Outside of work, he enjoys sports, camping, and outdoor adventures, but his favorite moments are spent with his wife, dog, family, and friends.

Sharon brings a wealth of experience to her role as Payroll and Bookkeeping Specialist at MQ Accounting. A 2013 graduate in Human Resources, she spent eight years in administrative and operational roles with the Provincial Government before pursuing a Diploma in Payroll and Bookkeeping.

Sharon joined MQ Accounting in June 2022 as an Assistant Administrator and quickly advanced to overseeing payroll, bookkeeping, and personal income tax services. Her strong work ethic, attention to detail, and client-focused approach make her a vital part of the team.

Outside of work, Sharon loves hiking, camping, fishing, and spending time with her dogs, family, and friends.

Melanie is a dedicated office administrator with extensive experience in executive and administrative support within government settings. Her customer-focused approach and attention to detail ensure that every task, particularly those involving sensitive information, is managed with accuracy, integrity, and care. With a strong background in history, Melanie brings a deep appreciation for records and meticulous organization to her role.

Outside the office, Melanie is a proud mother of two who cherishes family time through camping trips, road adventures, and exploring museums. A passionate cook (but not a fan of doing the dishes), she thrives on creating shared experiences and fostering connections, balancing her professional expertise with a vibrant personal life.

Dave brings over 15 years of experience in construction management before transitioning to a career in bookkeeping and accounting. Currently pursuing his bookkeeping certificate at Algonquin College, Dave plans to further his expertise by attaining his Certified Professional Accounting designation in the coming years. A life-long learner, he is passionate about continually expanding his knowledge and leveraging it to deliver exceptional service to MQ Accounting’s clients.

In his downtime, Dave enjoys spending time with his spouse and their Australian Shepherd, reading, skiing in the winter, and riding roller coasters during the warmer months.

Jemin joined MQ Accounting in December 2021, bringing extensive experience in Personal Income Tax, Trust Returns, Corporate Income Tax, Compilation, and HST rebates. He holds a Diploma in Business Administration – Accounting (2015) and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce.

With a strong background in financial analysis, budgeting, tax preparation, and compliance, Jemin excels in managing complex financial data and supporting strategic decisions. His attention to detail, analytical mindset, and dedication to accuracy make him a key asset to the team.
